Welcome to the Pennsylvania Crash Information Tool (PCIT), the public gateway to the Commonwealth's crash statistics.

From a variety of reports posted on the website, the public can learn about traffic crashes, fatalities and injuries statewide and in specific counties or municipalities. Search capabilities allow the public user to request and view customized crash data reports.

Featured Reports

These reports display crash data for commonly requested highway safety categories. Reports may be filtered by year and various other fields. Data displays in table format. Bar and line charts are available. Users may also download or save tables and charts.

Custom Query Tool

This search tool allows users to retrieve data based on criteria they specify. The data, displayed in table or map format, represents the number of crashes, people involved, or vehicles involved. Data can be filtered by Month and Year, County/Municipality, and by various crash characteristics.

This is an annual statistical crash review compiled from reportable crash reports in Pennsylvania. It is broken out into various topics and contains the crash data that is most commonly requested of PennDOT. You can also see past years of Facts Books.
